Ship It and Go Ja – Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: August 10, 2026
By using the services of Ship It and Go Ja, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Invoice Requirements
● A valid PDF invoice must be uploaded for every shipment.
● Screenshots, cropped images, or edited invoices will not be accepted.
● Ship It and Go Ja reserves the right to delay processing until a valid PDF invoice is received.
2. Prohibited Items
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their shipments comply with Jamaican customs regulations. Ship It and Go Ja do not accept prohibited or illegal items, including but not limited to:
● Firearms and ammunition
● Illegal drugs or controlled substances
● Explosives or hazardous materials
● Counterfeit goods
● Any item prohibited by Jamaican Customs or the country of origin
3. Customs and Duties
● Customs duties, taxes, and government fees are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.
● Ship It and Go Ja is not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections or government agencies.
4. Storage Policy
● Customers will be notified when their package is ready for collection.
● Packages must be collected within 7 days of notification.
● A storage fee may be charged for packages not collected after the free storage period.
● Packages left unclaimed for an extended period may be considered abandoned and handled in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
5. Package Inspection
Ship It and Go Ja reserves the right to inspect any package if required by customs, law enforcement, or for safety and security purposes.
6. Lost or Damaged Shipments
● While we take every reasonable precaution to protect your shipment, Ship It and Go Ja is not liable for damage resulting from inadequate packaging by the sender, manufacturer defects, or events beyond our control.
● Claims for missing or damaged items must be reported within 48 hours of package collection.
7. Delivery Times
Estimated shipping times are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to weather, customs clearance, airline schedules, holidays, or other unforeseen circumstances.
8. Customer Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information, shipping details, and invoice information. Ship It and Go Ja is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect information.
9. Payment
● Shipping and related charges must be paid before packages are released unless prior credit arrangements have been approved.
● Outstanding balances may result in packages being held until payment is received.
10. Limitation of Liability
Ship It and Go Ja liability is limited to the amount permitted under applicable law. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of business, profits, or opportunities.
11. Changes to Terms
Ship It and Go Ja reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted and become effective upon publication.
